The Algiers International Book Fair (SILA) is held, as every year, at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes (SAFEX) in Algiers, located about 15 km east of the city center.
👉 From downtown Algiers: take the metro toward the Les Fusillés (El Madania) station, then continue by tramway to the Palais des Expositions.
👉 From the eastern parts of Algiers (such as Bab Ezzouar, Bordj El Kiffan, or Dergana): the tramway remains the most convenient way to reach the Palais des Expositions – SAFEX.
Please note that the metro and tramway in Algiers stop operating at 11:00 PM.
You can also reach the Palais des Expositions by bus, taxi, or private car, with large parking areas available on-site.
